| The best deal you've found..... | scrublover Jun 14, 2002 6:40 PM | | Ordered a rear REAL disc hub/wheel from Cambria to pair up with an Avid disc on the rear of my SS. I've got a front REAL already, so I thought the rear would be finem despite some of the horror stories in the reviews. Just showed up today, with a matching front that I didn't get charged for. $133 for the pair. Not as light as King/Hugi/American Classic, but at that kind of price, damn!
What's the best part score/deal you've had?

| Quite a few good ones... | Stine Jun 14, 2002 7:38 PM | | back when I was an internet deal hunter. ahhhh, those were the days.
Planet Outdoors Voler jerseys for .99 each (bought 3. gave 2 away)
Giro E-2 for $59.00
Terry Liberator Ti-Race saddle for $45.00
$70.00 AXO Dually bmx shoes for $35.00
Set of Avid 7.0 brakes and levers for $36.00
CamelBak Rocket $52.00
SRAM messenger bag $20.00
WTB Momentum headset for $38.00
just to name a few. Have gotten many rediculous deals on jerseys and shorts. Only bought them on sales/closeouts. Good thing I stocked up little by little over the years. My spending days are over for a while! |
| nice ! | scrublover Jun 14, 2002 8:06 PM | | I guess I was just excited about the wheelset; getting a set when it was only supposed to be the rear. Picked up a USE carbon post for my road bike for $70 as my last "great deal."

| My Ibis Silk Ti | Sultan of Singletrack Jun 15, 2002 8:50 AM | | Paid $2000 for my 2001 Ibis Silk Ti. This includes full XTR group except Race Face Next LP cranks. Has a Marzocchi X-Fly fork, Easton Monkeylites, Easton carbon post, etc.
I thought this was a pretty sweet deal considering the frame alone retailed for #2450. |
