| Who is your favorite XC racer of all time? | DanglingChad Jun 15, 2002 6:55 PM | | Finally, a poll worthy of Passion!!

| I am a novice mtb'er and have never raced, but.. | crackedsurly Jun 15, 2002 8:03 PM | | here is my favorite racer of all time: http://www.mountainbikeracer.com/racer_profiles/terry_blanch.htm |
| Johnny Tomac | Snowman Jun 15, 2002 9:08 PM | | Yes he raced XC before DH and he is a great all round rider. Most XC racers are great cardio specimens, but not exactly technically proficient. Tinker and Ned are exceptions of course. |
| I always thought that | Yeti_Rider Jun 15, 2002 9:55 PM | | The dominance Julie Furtado showed in the early 90's was just incredible. Yeah, Ned was insane as well and Johhny T was the last guy to win both a XC and DH event on the same bike but Julie won every race she entered for an entire year, and most of 'em weren't even close.

| Yup...Queen Julie... | E Jun 16, 2002 7:04 AM | | Far and away an amazing athlete. A big part of MTB history (and women in sports history I should think).
I'll put in a vote for Thomas Frischknecht too...poor guy can't win
but he had a huge long career in the sport. He liked to get 2nd place.
