Jul 12, 2002 10:00 PM | | Whoa! Just taking a break from the grind. This makes the 9th night in a row that I'm up here at the orifice until the wee hours, cranking to get this freaking project out. The family is enjoying their second perfect weekend at the lake without Dad, and I haven't ridden since a half-hour night ride last Saturday after working late.
Well that's not entirely true....there's the commute, but hey it's not exactly a record breaking distance, ya know? My salvation? The light at the end of the tunnel (project goes out Wednesday), the commute on the road bike with visions of le' Tour in my head (..just see if Kirsipuu can catch ME! it's a sprint to the last!), the Fu Manchu on the headphones, and the Red Hook stash in my bag. BAHHHHHH!!!!!! Will this never end? |
