Jul 13, 2002 11:42 AM | | Just looking at the message board at TriLife for Silverstar, they're all from women, well 3 out of 4 (75%). Are Canadian women just more hardcore than American women? Or are they just more outgoing, not afraid to go after what they are wanting? Or are there no other women in Canada who ride so the ones who do must go looking for others?
As I will be at Silver Star and it will be my first trip north of the border, just wondering about the culture.

There are really no great secrets to be known about us Cannuck Chicks. Though generally I do have to say that my female friends and I who are into the active scene (mountain biking, snowboarding, etc.) are fully hardcore and passionate about what they have fun at (not to mention excel at) doing. I'm from the eastern regions of the Northern Land but folks are even more laid back and enjoy an even more active style than where I'm from, and I hang with some pretty cool folks. Enjoy the trip north!
