| Anybody have a Giant AC-3( i wanna see some pix) | dad420 Aug 8, 2002 3:02 PM | | The pic on the giant website sucks like a hooker on check day. |
| I believe | Greyhound Aug 9, 2002 4:10 AM | | ..that the AC 3 is an Australian product only. Could be wrong. |
| I wish I weren't....... | Greyhound Aug 9, 2002 5:48 AM | | correct on that one either. It would be nice to get a hold of some of the foreign models to see how they ride. The AC Team(black w/yellow graphics) is a European model I think. The AC "Id" hardtail is a Giant Japanese model in production right now. Both look sweet, especially the hardtail, but unfortunately, we'll probably never get to ride them. If you ever get a chance to flip through a European mtb magazine, you'll find that some of your favorite companies make all kinds of different frames for different parts of the world. Marin is one that I can think of off the top. They have about six different models that we've never seen.
binary visions, I believe you've seen this one? |
| I wish I weren't....... | dad420 Aug 9, 2002 8:45 AM | | Nope- I saw and rode this one(crappy pic from giant website |
| not true | dad420 Aug 9, 2002 5:37 AM | | i live in Canada and I was sitting on one in my LBS |
| Well ,sorta not true..... | Greyhound Aug 9, 2002 5:53 AM | | ....Giant Canada imports stuff from other countries for their market. Giant USA doesn't do it. That's why you'll see some funky models in Canada, but not here, unless someone actually brings it from where they got it, get it? No doubt you'll be one of the lucky ones to benefit from such practices, but we will have to "suffer" with our four models down here in the States I guess....... |
