We are ready for you this year. Team "Camel" is now team "Black Sheep". I have replaced my stoker with Italian road race champion Franco Frankavilla. This should get my team at least 1 or 2 more laps. By my calculations this should still put us behind you guys by about 3 laps. How is your bike? Maybe we could beat you if your bike broke. Maybe you guys should have a few drinks "before" the race starts........ just to even things up. What is your favorite drink? I will supply it! I look forward to seeing you there ( hopefully behind me for at least for a little while ). Regards, Reed Weedakowski
Whart are the dates of the race?Rev Bubba

I wanted to cheer on a Dirt Rag racer and hate to show up on the wrong weekend and cheer for myself....

For those of you racing or spectating. I spoke with Beth (one of the organizers) and here's some tid-bits she told me.

1- There will NOT be any Niterider charging station, but there will be many electrical outlets, how this will work I am not sure. Borrow whatever you can.

2- The staging area is changing from last year. Her quote was that it would be more 'open and friendly' I liked last years, where everyone huddled to cheer each other, but oh well, I'm sure that won't change

3- The course will also be different. How different or how long, she didin't say, but I'm sure it will still be challenging. Said they were out there yesterday scouting one out.

These are new organizers and hopefully they'll do just as good a job as the reputation the previous one's built up.

4- There are still slots open.

Good luck to all and enjoy.

Fav drink...hum would have to be orange juice. Sorry, this wont help with the number of laps. Anyway glad to hear you are coming back. KI heard from my sister. As you know we have a new bike, a ventana. In a word sweeet! We figure this has to be good for a few more laps, time will tell. Hey, have you been spying on us? So far we have trashed two freehubs in the past month. We are ging to try a King this time. Heres hoping that Chris King builds a great hub! How about we let you lead the first lap, after that may the best team win! No, seriously, you guys will do fine. As we both know it takes a special person(s) to want to do this anyway!!!

Re the course, expect more of the same. With the exception of some more rocks. Basically the same course as last year with a few changes. There is a new smokin downhill, smooth and fast. This is followed by a new climb. Also, there is some new single track, thanks to this years moto race. This section will be after the first half of 4--Bump. Oh, yeah, did I mention the rocks? Course lenght is just under 11 miles. Should take the fast folks just over an hour, the resto f us know where we satnd from there.

I spoke with the sponsoring shop, Cycle Wroks, it looks like we should have a night rider charging station. As a reminder, bring charged batteries and spares!

See ya on ther 24th!

Bob
