Aug 9, 2002 9:54 AM | | Set the fork to 100mm mode. If you have the Black Comp 80-100, it should have 4.2 - 4.6 inches from the top of the fork crown to the top of the oil. You measure in the right tube, after removing the compression assembly, and the forks should be fully extended (slack). If you have the Black Elite 80-100, the distance should be 4.6 - 5.0", so be sure which model you've got.
The manual also sez if you ride 100 mtb miles in one day, you are a hammerhead. |
