| Outline/comment request for hosting a women's mtb weekend | 1 Speed Oct 7, 2002 4:09 AM | | I'm currently working on putting together a committee of women to host a women's mtb weekend somewhere within the midwest. As I'm not a woman I can't presume to guess what they may want. I would like some ideas from people who've been to such things as to what I should consider suggesting to the committee. Any ideas would be great. Thanks. |

Sorry I know I'm no help. |
| Since I'm XY, not XX, I'm just guessing, but... | DeRanger Oct 7, 2002 6:41 AM | | ...some fast singletrack, beautiful scenery, and good post-ride grub would probably work.

| Never been to one, | Spike Oct 7, 2002 11:16 AM | | but I'm a woman rider. I can't think of anything special that I'd want different than any "regular" mtn bike weekend. If there is any instruction involved, I guess it would be cool if the instructors were women.

They run a pretty successful Women's Only Weekend, includes instruction, food and racing, not to mention a great "testo-free" environment. My wife has gone four of the last five years and loves it. |
