| Wouldn't this look good in black.... | Dragonfly Oct 7, 2002 9:31 AM | | Santa Cruz "Blur"
whoa.
Good thing I don't have a couple thousand dollars or I'd have to test ride this beauty. Maybe I can purchase a used one in a few years.
Does anyone here have one, or has anyone ridden one? The only thing I'd like to change would be to have a coil for the rear shock. |

| Yup. Saw that... | Dragonfly Oct 7, 2002 10:10 AM | | and it does sound like a great bike for what I would need to replace the one I have. I keep saying this year after year, but my bike just keeps on going! I may never need another actually. lol |
| Question about that review... | Catch22 Oct 8, 2002 2:16 PM | | Did you notice that the darker colored one (navy or black, can't tell) being ridden in one of the pictures has a different top tube? It's a straight tube instead of one with a bend like the one pictured above. I'm wondering if it's just a smaller size with no need for the bend or what. Seems a little strange, maybe just a few different prototypes they're testing? Whatever the case, sounds like a great ride, everyone's raving about it. |
| Question about that review... | Bonee Oct 8, 2002 2:51 PM | | Two thoughts on the top tube:
- The story is that SC has been tinkering around with this for a while. Maybe they had a design that used the straight top tube instead of the bent.
or
- On the Superlight frames, the Medium frame comes with a straight top tube, all the otehr I believe are the bent top tube. I have a MED and it is straight. |
