Obviously not cyclists. Girl on left needs to powder her forehead and straighten her posture. Can women like this be very bright? Am I just biased? Perhaps you suspect I envy their big round mammaries, but I'd rather not carry the extra weight when I'm racing anyway. And I bet my boyfriend's hotter than either of theirs. (JON! quit staring at them!)

You've got to be kidding. Haven't you seen enough of my flat chest and stubby legs on this board?

Jon just called from Vegas again by the way. He said he got Tyler Hamilton's autograph for me. He said he was so stunned by Tyler's beauty that when Tyler asked him, "What's that weird noise?" Jon could only say, "I don't know!" He's on about one hour of sleep, and he hadn't even been to the Tioga booth yet.

Ever hear of the Golden Rule?
Still waitingcleatgrrl
Oct 7, 2002 2:54 PM
to find out what exactly your value is to this site.

Yes, I've heard of the golden rule. It definately applies in your case. If I were a free-rider in a community effort, I would want someone to wake me up to that fact, and encourage me to contribute more positively. So I'm still waiting for a single example of one interesting photo, story, ride report or even a funny joke that you have ever posted? I don't think you can demonstrate your contribution. And if you are such a fan of the golden rule, then I guess I should insult you, like you did to me. Yes, it hurts my feelings. Is that how you would like to be treated?

First off...Fat-tire
Oct 7, 2002 3:07 PM
I've posted numerous ride/race reports. Maybe not in the numbers you are used to seeing from others, but when I feel I did something extraordinary, I've posted. I don't necessarily feel the need to report every time I ride, or to go into minute detail about every inch of a ride (I don't have the patince to do that). I do normally ask technical questions, and when I know an answer answer them. And occasionally, when I come across a post I particularlly enjoy, let the poster know I enjoyed it. (I don't have a digital camera or a scanner, so you're not going to see any photos from me, sorry.)

That said, you set the bar girl. You probably don't recall, but when I first started posting here, you attacked me. You were harsh, rude, and in my eyes way out of line. Now, I could have let it go and chalked it up to me being a newbie, but I've seen it happen too often with you and other posters. You have your moments, and in some cases I even enjoyed reading some of your posts. But too often, you grab out to some idea like a starving stray, and won't let go.

And, yep, I hold a grudge (ask MrFire and PhoenixKen). Sorry you took offense, but before you start point fingers, ask yourself why I pick on you.
You can add the jackass PedalAZ to that list too...Fat-tire

Don't you have any friends?cleatgrrl
Oct 8, 2002 4:40 AM
Who could take your picture when you are riding? I don't have a digital camera or a scanner either. Are you 12 years old? The Golden rule is not "Do unto others as they do unto you," it's "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you." If I were as confused as you obviously are about this tenet, I would surely want to have that explained to me very clearly. Now quit picking on me, freak!!!
Okay, now I'm confused.Fat-tire
Oct 8, 2002 7:06 AM
it's okay for you to put others down, but when you're the ugly brunt of somebody's point, you're being picked on?

Ha, sorry little lady. I seriously don't want to be treated kindly by you. Now how boring would that be.

You seriously need to lighten up.

And let me see if I understand this? I don't have friends because I don't post pics of myself. Just so I'm clear, that was a put down, right?

Hello World, it's me...Center
Confused, abused, and oh so condescendingcleatgrrl
Oct 8, 2002 8:55 AM
I think you misunderstood. I just asked, "Don't you have any friends who can take your picture?" I was responding to your repeated insistence that you cannot contribute a picture to this board. I know, it's hard, but my humor is lost on some. "Lighten up" right back at you.

>>>don't have friends because I don't post pics of myself. Just so I'm clear, that was a put down, right?

No, it wasn't, but this shows your paranoia, which probably was the source of your original (when?) feeling that I put you down, some time in the past.

>>but when you're the ugly brunt of somebody's point, you're being picked on?

You just declared your intent to pick on me. I asked you to stop. You continued. You follow the abusive trait of someone who has just discovered the fun of kicking their cat. Someone expressed their sensitivity, and you got a little power trip going.

Would you rather just be ignored? Previously, you declared your intent to ignore me, I would prefer it. Call me "little lady" and you will be ignored. And if you are sssssssssssssoooooooooo sensitive, that you are hung up on some slight that probably wasn't even intended for you (I normally wouldn't tangle with high-school kids), then what can I say. You have some maturing to do. I never meant to insult you, and if I did, and your ego is still bruised from that, well, maybe you need to start ignoring my posts again. Please.

>>Hello World, it's me...Center

Aptly put, for once.
Let it go...Fat-tire
Oct 8, 2002 9:05 AM
it's more than your humor that is lost on some.

Hhhmm, am I picking on you? That's odd, I thought I was just trying to get the last word in.

In fact, all I did was ask that you not post *another* photo of yourself. Low self esteem?

(And don't play naive. You pick on a lot of people, but I don't have time to point out the obvious.)
Let what go? AW, bite mecleatgrrl
Oct 8, 2002 9:56 AM
You said:

>>>>>>And, yep, I hold a grudge (ask MrFire and PhoenixKen). Sorry you took offense, but before you start point fingers, ask yourself why I pick on you.<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<

Who needs to let what go? You proclaimed your weak attempt to pick on me. I don't care if you are backpedalling now or not, clearly you cannot decide what you're doing. Oh, and by the way, here's another photo of me---BITE ME.

Jeff, I don't "pick on" people, but I will defend myself against attack. I don't puppy-dog around on this board after anyone like you do, vying for their attention. I wasn't really insulted by your commenting "NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!" when some pre-pubescent jerk-off said, "Post a picture of yourself" but I do think it made you look petty, mean and stupid, and it prompted me to recommend you let go of your penis and your grudges and spend your minimal brain-power doing something more productive. If you need to get "the last word" in, you'll probably not succeed. I have been here many years, and I've seen many snot nosed children come and go from here, get into it with cleatgrrl and finally wither and die forever (like that wuss celly) so don't think you can out flame me. I hold the year 2000 award for best flame-war, and you, frankly, are small potatoes.
Ah, I get it now...Fat-tire
Oct 8, 2002 10:41 AM
You were defending yourself against attack by asking if good looking women can be smart?

You're way too easy to pick on, but believe me, my intention was not to let it go this far. But since you have the need to 1) point out that in your eyes I don't contribute to this board and 2) hint that I should take you as an example of someone to model, how can I let it go.

I love how easy you can speculate on my brain power and my asexual preference by a couple simple posts. So, what, can I now comment on your breast size, and who often you suffer from PMS because you said BITE ME? Take note, I've never once ridiculed your appearance, or even your intelligence (and if I did, I'm sure you'll point this out to me). However, I won't sit back and let somebody tell me that my posts are not worthwhile (which, btw, the opposite of which is worthless), especially from somebody who feels the need be so damn attacking.

Believe me, I know exactly when you have offended someone (and in many cases unprovoked). It typically is the most entertaining part of my day. The rest of the stuff, I just ignore (mostly out of time, as you have an uncanny ability to go on, and on, and on).

you know, the second-by-second recaps you do? Even though I find it the most boring thing on earth and to be of literally no value I don't say that you are worthless because of it, even though I might think that. Yeah, golden rule, don't put down others, cause you might not be so perfect.
Steady, privatecleatgrrl

I never said the guy was worthless. I was encouraging him to make a contribution for a change. If I thought he was worthless, I'd tell him to bite me and get lost. Now bite me, and get lost.

That is one of the very very few instances when I am happy that the mtbr censors are at work. We can recognize known trolls or dorks on the main page and we can ignore them if we want, but giant, colored, flashing etc. fonts we can't. Keep the main page a level field.

The other was changing a clickable HTML link to a video of the murder of the journalist in Afganistan/Pakistan to a URL that you had to cut and paste if you really wanted to see it.

I follow the Posting Guidelines as determined by MTBR's management.

People are actually very good at policing themselves. Most of what I delete are ads from people that don't normally post on MTBR. Once in a while someone thinks it is funny to post a porn pic to the board.

Others on the boards help too by emailing me when those kind of things get posted. The assistance is appreciated!
