Oct 7, 2002 11:45 AM | | Riding the top part of SBT reminded me of the scene in Empire Strikes Back where they're on those flying sleds speeding through the forest. Speeds crept up over 20 mph on many of these sections without much effort. This is a rather wide section, some places you had tight trail with a big drop-off to the left with trees to cushion your plument. . .

Oct 7, 2002 12:29 PM | | Tim couldn't make it Saturday. Mark (Mean aka Taco) and I did SBT again with Tim on Sunday. If anyone says they like climbing, that means they're good at it. Dr. Faustus really likes to climb. He did the trail from the bottom! It still didn't slow him down enough for us.

Sorry I missed the big group on Sat., but much fun was had by John, Mark and I on Saturday. Ran into friends on the trail and at home after. All in all an incredible day (riding, scenery, new friends, etc...). Looking forward to riding with you all again!
