| Pushed to the breaking point -----> | Jettstream Oct 7, 2002 2:18 PM | | That's it, I have had ENOUGH! I just spent an hour or so (over a dialup) downloading pics and stories from too many sweeeeet perfect+++ rides from this weekend, any one of which I could have made if I hadn't let too many non-mtb projects intrude into my biking space. Story of my summer. The hiking boots are well-scuffed, muddy and flexy, but sadly the Kona has gathered dust and thickened her grease.
So this week, the bikes are getting their spring overhauls a few months early. Then I'm off to work on getting my biking motor back to where it should be. Thanx, guys. You bastidges know who you are. |

| Agreed - great day for ride pics & more | pedalAZ Oct 7, 2002 3:49 PM | | Hey, I even rode twice this weekend and I still got fired up from the great posts today. Many thanks to the New Mexico crew, J.D., Kitchenware, front range migz, FP, and I'm not forgetting Gregg for all the Interbike pics.
Nice work Passionites. |
| There's never enough time | jonny boy Oct 8, 2002 6:25 AM | | Had a great Summer of mountain biking all over CO and UT, but once I started digging into Ann's back issues of Backpacker mag, suddenly I realize I hadn't been all Summer long, and want to go now!
If you still have my email shoot me some stories of what you've done this Summer, it's always fun to hear, and I'm always looking for the inside scoop on places I haven't been... |
