I'm a fat bastid, own three XC bikes (and love them all), have no desire to DH and am slow as molasses.

Where do you get your stats?

Last I saw Brian Lopes is pretty cut and he's pretty damn fast. I bet he could kick a lot of XC riders all over the place.

1) Seat's too high (usually, see that's THANKFULLY changed)

2) Seat's too far forward on rails (see #1..only one step away from bar ends (AGAIN)

3) He only rides fireroads

4) Can't tell a story for shiet--he's always gotta be so "animated" about it, talking with his hands and standing up (fack, is "Fagerlin" an italian name?), which leads to lack of quality vertical and an overall sense of malaise. Phew.

5) Ellsworths are "crappy" and they always break

6) The headangle on his ID is too steep for anything other than technical XC

7) It doesn't NOTICABLY piss him off when you refer to him as "pedro" "p diddy" or "peter rabbit".

8) Two words: Knee Warmers.

It's clear as mud...

And speaking of mud. See, the sign says the woods are very dry. However, notice Pete's bike is covered in mud. Now, can't have muddy conditions if it's dry.

Thanks for your sincere effort, though.
