These are the people that might have a check that's larger than they could probably cover with their checking account (assuming they have one). They might live check to check and can't wait for a check to clear. |

Because they also own most of the townie liquor stores too (which by the way is typically right next to the check cashing joint??). It's called tribute, you could cash it at the bank and get layed off shortly after that. Or you could cash it with them and keep your laborers job.
