Nov 8, 2002 12:51 PM | | Since I'm relatively new here (found Passion in late July, though I've visited MTBr regularly since the start without ever checking out the forums) and since I really enjoy this community, I've been reading the archives to "get caught up" on various long-running topics. (And maybe to avoid repeating old posts.) It's been hilarious to see the background of various characters develop, especially flame wars among people who now stay far away from flame wars. I feel like a detective. (Or maybe a perverted voyeur.)
Please don't mind my snooping, but if you're ever sitting down to dinner and feel a cold shudder up your spine, it's probably just me reading one of your posts from last January...
And Mellow Yellow, thanks to the archives, I finally figured out who you are and Yes, I've seen you on Tiger Mtn a few times, including the day we were supposed to meet up. Frankly, you're hard to miss out there. I don't want to embarrass you, but the last time I passed you on NW Timber Trail, you were happily riding along, in yellow, singing to yourself. I was hammering my ride for a time trial, else I would have said "hi" and probably discovered it was you. Any updates on the back injury? Riding again yet? |
