I hate snow. Hey all you Calgary locals, how are the K-country trails during the winter? Does the snow get packed down enough to make it ridable, or is it not even worth the bother? What about Drumheller? Anyone wanna ride tomorrow? =)
why do you live there??/Brodiegrrl

:-)

We'll be having our last day of riding in Whistler this weekend. Good thing we can still ride in Vancouver though!

We went on a 50 KM LSR yesterday on the road bikes. It was GREAT! We're hopeing to do that once a week.

Come out the the "Rocks" with skog, Spike and I this winter. I'll take our winters over the long, dreerie and wet winters of the coast any day. At least we see the sun on most days. Spike's been to Vancouver once (Xmas '99) and never saw the city the whole week because it was under a heavy fog. We didn't see the sun until we drove up Cypress and got above the fog.

To me, Van's a GREAT place to visit, etc etc. ;-)

I'm just waiting for good ol' Ma Nature to quit fooling around and give us the big one!

As for riding in the winter usually the dog walkers do a good enough job packing down single tracks in the snow to keep me riding. Riding "on" Cougar Creek is one of my favorites...

But when the snow is good you won't find me anywhere near my bike...
