The Rockville pictures you're NOT SUPPOSED TO SEE!Finch Platte
Nov 10, 2002 3:44 PM
Due to a mammatorium on Rockville photos, we're not supposed to post any pics of anyone having fun at R-ville. But dammit- all 9 of us had a blast in the rain, sun and a little bit of mud. So, I've

i got

to post pics! Especially since Pete's out of town. Screw him.

Here's one of the new Extra Protein Powerbars. Mmmmmmm!

Aka Joe Steel.

He shirked a few honeydews to make the ride, altho he skipped the fine messkin eats after the ride to get home to make sure the tuner was working on the TV.

Good to see you again, Joe. Get your priorities straight, wouldja?

Finch Platte "What, no Rockville pics?" 1/8/02 9:24am

Just search "rockville" on the Passion board for every concievable square footage of trail. See a rock you like? I bet one of us has shot it, seriously.

Other search terms for rockville would be zonic, pete, fourarm, fp to bring up tons more.

No victims today- unless you consider BV a victim of crappy photography.

Who is this?Finch Platte

Arnold? Cathy?

Anyway, to the right of this rider's arm, by the shoulder, you can see where the earth is stripped to make pads for new houses. Soon, we'll be running into hikers from these homes, sniffing "these damn mountain bikers- who let

i them

into the park?"

And, oh, yeah- the camera by this point was totally soaked. Earlier in the ride, just before the

b Manzanita Tunnel of Death,

it had rained so hard, the water would drip from my glove across the viewfinder. I'm surprised it lasted

i this

long. The camera, not the glove.

Any reason you chose that fork? It just doesn't seem like the best candidate for aggressive riding with disc brakes by a heavier than "xc weight weenie" rider.

Nice frame btw, love that that shade of blue.
He hates that fork.Finch Platte
