I'm green with envy - you DO appreciate having such incredible cool rides in your backyard?!!!!! We did a very non inspiring ride this wkd - all the while wishing we were with our buds, JD & Kev, out west. Is that on Porcupine Rim?

Great shot!

I wanted to let you know that I finally met Lee Bridges about a week ago and I was pleasantly surprised. I basically went into Dreamrides to ask him if he had built a new stretch of singletrack which just appeared out of nowhere nearby (since I had run out of ideas as to who built it). He told me that he didn't build it but was very interested in knowing more about it. I ended up having a short but very good conversation with him about routing and geography issues.

Anyway, just thought I'd let you know. Though I have heard horror stories about his elitist sentiments, I really rather liked the guy and enjoyed talking to him.

hfly <-- ever surprised

Don't listen to everything they have to say. Lee's biggest fault is that he's opinionated, which is why he and I became friends so quickly (birds of a feather). I'm glad you met him and formed your own opinion. He's a good man.

PS you recognize the spot in the pic and notice I didn't poach any of your shots from your trip up there a few weeks ago

Clancy had to be put down this weekend because of cancerous tumors in his chest cavity. Needless to say, the best thing Kevin could do is to go on a good ride with a friend. It was his suggestion to do this particular ride and at the top he reminisced about a particular ride on that same route when Clancy was running it with him. Kevin is a good friend and his buddy Clancy will be missed by all who have had their legs licked by him.

That sucks!

I got to spend a little roadtrip w/ clancy in the back of the vanagon...this was earlier this summer, when we just thought he was getting "old".

Oh man, I'm sorry for the loss, Kevin.

My condolences! Clancy was by far the best dog I've ever had the privilege of riding with. I'm sure he's enjoying that great singletrack in the sky.
So sorry Kevin. We willwhatever

all miss Clancy. He was a special dog, and he made some sweet memories for us all. In fact, we were just talking about Clancy this wkd to some riding friends.

Wish I was there to give you a hug. Roger and I send you our sympathy.

Laurie
I'm very sorry to hear that.Timmy

That's a tough one.

He seemed like a great dog when I met him last summer. The spirit to run even if the legs were unable.

My condolences to you Kevin.
Thank you all (nm)tiggerider
