Black & Red, but no bike content.M-U-M

My adoration for black & red bikes seems to have transcended to other areas of my life. Take this weekend for instance. I couldn't go ride, so I found myself taking on that favored of all home repairs: fixing the toilet. Not just any old toilet either. I went after the dreaded basement laundry room wall mounted beast that has been shut off for nearly two years.

Even though my house offers two fairly usable upstairs bathrooms, there are times when tromping all that way to relieve one's self isn't practical. So, there I was, curled up on the floor with a collection of old & new plumbing parts, tools and three pages directions - in three languages, no less. We gals like reading directions.

The project was a success! I feel so proud. The following images best represent my Black & Red in the Head Ride.

I had all three of these.

A red version of this.

The only time I cussed. Someone had glued this part to the tank.

And since it is a bit dark in that corner, I may order a set of these.

It wasn't as fun as a roll in the woods, but at least I was warm. 8)
