You would not BELIEVE the differance between this and the Bullits. I went over to the Park for a few, and carried the dam' thing up Edna Mae. I have NEVER done the staircase that fast. It jumps nice too.
won't be riding with you again...Allroy

couldn't keep up with you on your Stiffee. I guess I'll need a rocket pack.

Sweet bike, be careful out there. Jim

SWEET! That fork leaking yet? :) Which model is that?

You gonna make it out for S.F.? I know of a big prickly pear with your name on it.

Were TRYING to get down this weekend, I dont think that SF is gonna be an option this year, but we'll see! Are there any other dirt jumping places now? If we do come Satyurday, were gonna try and bring two bikes each.

hope you can make it this weekend.

Not many places like Papago Park. There's a couple places on the east side of town, but are more for bmx'ers. Two bikes is a good idea. Get in some miles Sat, and a few runs Sun a.m.

Wow, that is gonna be a sweet ride going down...

And to think I am going the other way by adding a rigid disk fork to my 29"er...you are really gonna school me going downhill now.

Been up to fort fun lately? ~b
Not lately,NoSpode

I sent Cheryl an "E" a couple of weeks ago, but didn't hear back. My Brother keeps telling me how warm and dry it is, but I just keep riding the stuff down here.....A rigid fork???? WHY?!????
Don't know about him...Kitchenware

but when I ride my rigid for a while, it seems like I get faster on the squishy bike. ???

Cheryl has been crazy busy the last 3 weeks. The music side of Ultimate is actually probably breaking down from the NAMM Tradeshow today (like Interbike for the music types) and she is the only person in sales left behind taking calls for more than 10 people.

Yup, dry as a bone up here. Buckhorn Canyon/Monument Gulch/Pingree Park west of town- usually under snow now is still rideable.

Rigid fork for the winter to hone up on my skills. Plus, the front end is sooo light you can just flick it around and bunnyhop stuff like mad.

skill building thing, I keep riding the Stiffee on DH trails, slow, but it definately helps with the finnese!

I'll shoot you an "E" soon, I was thinking about a storage solution for the Dinning room.

i forgot you were a reggae fan. You going to eek a mouse tomorrow by any chance? If so, we'll have to have a 90 together. Lemme know if you do a pingree ride anytime soon. I've been jonzing for some of that.Miguel

I've been pretty light on the back lately do to a back injury and I just can't seem to muster up the strength to do do that 3+ hour ride. We still need to hook up. While I might lack in the technical terrain area I hear you are so good at, I typically can hammer right along over long rides.

But for now, it is long, slow road rides till the back is at least 90%...

Jan 20, 2003 3:49 PM
That's some serious kit.

Didn't there used to be a company that made cool DH bikes called Intense or something like that? :)

Well yours is way cooler than them old school sleds.
