Fair asking price of this gem...(2 posts)

Fair asking price of this gem...Meat Foot
Jan 20, 2003 12:22 PM
Hello all,

I am looking to sell my 1992 Bridgestone MB-3. THIS IS NOT AN AD. It is currently configured as an SS, but I have all the parts to restore it to a gearie. That is: cluster, shifters, rear and front der. Any idea what a fair asking price would be? The frame is straight, wheels are fairly true, cantilever brakes (not quite as good as a boat anchor, just plan your stops ahead of time). Many of the parts are NOT oem. The bike was sacrificed for another early in its life. Any input would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Mike

Mike,

Sorry, I cant help with the price. Maybe look on ebay for the going market price. If you had a picture and complete list of parts it would be easier to put a price on. Does it have the stock rigid fork, what condition is the paint in, what condition are the parts in, what are the non-oem parts etc... I have purchased two stock mb-3's, one in 1999 for $200.00, and one in 2001 for $150.00. I ended up parting them out and selling them off since they were the wrong size for a little more then I paid for them. But if you decide to sell, please email me.
