I push the zip tie down evertime I do a ride and that morning, I was taking the dogs out. That was done from was basically dropping curbs.
Are you still running the stock springs in it?brianc

Or did you switch out for the other set that came with the Vanilla? I used all my travel playing in the south foothills.

you need to come back, there have been some "improvments" since you were here.

hopefully I'll have some pics for you later in the week.

what are the improvements you talk about? To the foothills trail?

I gues you are liking that new bike.

It was the stock spring but I may be a little heavy. I was right on the border of the weight spec. I changed it since to the heavier spring.

125 mm spec.
There are some new linesbrianc

and that's about all I'll say. In fact I'm a litte nervous that we are on the slippery slope to trail closers. I've seen one sign posted in regaurds to illeal trail building. 90% of the "freeride" lines are stuff that was not built my bikers, but hikers. and have been exploited for MTB use. These trails are fine in my opinion, but there are a few springing up that have no buisness being there. Errosion will be a major porblem.

Thankfully only a small group, so far, is riding them. But if we get in dager on closing the only MTB place during winter and fire season then they'll be some free riders on the chopping block. Hopefully we can find a solution which will make all parties happy. I'm sortof devied in that I would like to be able to ride some of these new lines some day, or atleast ones like them.

I think I'll switch to the heavier springs.

Yes I love the bike, I've scratched it for you. =) but i did it trying to stop AFTER i rode the hard part. go figure.

I've had some quality control issues with my shocks, but that is being take care of.
