| Washington, DC Folks: Mt. Vernon Trail Clear Yet??? | 8cht Feb 20, 2003 2:21 PM | | I'm trying to figure out if I can ride into work on Friday. Anyone in the Washington, DC area know if the Mt. Vernon trail near National Airport to the 14th Street Bridge is clear of snow yet? Thanks. |
| nope | daverino Feb 20, 2003 5:40 PM | | I was driving home from work today, getting off the 14th st bridge onto the GW parkway west. I made a point of checking out the trail, and it looked pretty much covered up with snow. The part of the trail on the 14th st bridge was also covered.
Sorry. The way traffic has been the last few days, riding a bike would be ideal. I'm totally jonesing for a ride, and the snow just brings me farther from scratching that itch.
UGH.

| Not yet. How about the CCT and W&OD? | bep Feb 21, 2003 12:44 PM | | Nope. Hains Point was clear and dry on Thursday night however. Any info on the Capital Crescent btwn G-town and Bethesda would be helpful for the same reasons. |
