Todays Ride Pics...(6 posts)

Todays Ride Pics...ThoughtfulPirate
Mar 22, 2003 2:55 PM
My friends and my Dad and I went on a ride for my birthday today. We rode a bunch of fun trails, with a ton of climbing and Descending. I took a few pics on some rocky sections. We rode at DuPont State Forest out of the flatwoods trailhead. The worst part about this trailhead is all the horses, very few mountain bikers come to flatwoods. Lots of crashes today, my dad went down twice, brad once (on film!), James flipped off a small drop, and Weaver flipped over in the creek. Brad hit a nice drop that was maybe 6 ft to flat, but i am dumb and didnt have my camera out.

Here is my dad on a steep rocky part...

Weaver on another rocky part...

Weaver again...

Brad on the rocks...

My dad again...

Brad just before his crash, I missed him flipping though. He is sliding out now.

It was a really fun ride, One climb was hellish, and it hardly had any descending afterwards. We also got a ton of film with james and his camcorder. We finally have a good crash on our video. Sorry we cant post it though, its not a digital camcorder.
Cool pics. Dupont does rock. Where's your picture? (nm)ScubaCruz

you don't need a digital camcorder to post video. You can still download analog video into the computer, but you do need to have the appropriate hardware to do it. While a digital camcorder makes life easier, it's not a necessity.

How much would all of that cost?
You can get an All-in-wonder video card...Battman42

for around $100 maybe less if you get an older board or a lot more depending on the configuration... This will do video capture and output to video tape.I have an older one and have made a few videos with it.

There are other options offered by other video card makers.
