Jefferson City: anyone around?(3 posts)

Jefferson City: anyone around?bhutata

I'm starting a project next week in Jefferson City, MO that will last a few months. Anyone around there that would like to show me the trails after work during the week? I'll be commuting home for the weekends.

Not sure yet, but I think where I'll be working on the west side might even be close enough to Binder Lake for a lunchtime outing.

Jeff city has at least one trail I know of. As I recall it kind of sucked.

If you are new to Missouri, deffinately make sure you do Berryman. St. Louis's Chubb and Castlewood are worth the trip as well.

Rock Bridge State Park isn't far from Jeff City. I only rode it once while living in Missouri, but it was lots of fun. Many miles of fairly easy, swooping singletrack.

Here's a link I found that might help you out. Columbia isn't far from Jeff City, so take a look at the trails listed for Columbia as well as Jeff City.
