|   First Ride in months! | Cabin Fever
Mar 23, 2003 2:46 PM | | due to various reasons, this school year has really screwed me in terms of riding. Mono, a more harsh winter than any i can remember, ground that never seems to dry, and time consuming classes have kept me from getting but a handful of rides in since august. however, today was a glorious day, and i headed out to the one and only trail in this tiny town, and it was like meeting an old friend, it was like i never got off the bike. other than being in crappy shape, i didn't feel shaky or lacking any confidence. what a great feeling! there are few feelings that can top the one just after a great ride, on a beautiful sunny day, by a lake, and with good music playing out of my stereo as i take another sip from my camelback on the way home. i can't imagine being much more relaxed. i just thought i'd share some good vibes with my fellow passionites. |
