Mar 24, 2003 7:46 AM | | Perfect morning in Albuquerque today. First day to ride with shorts to work in the morning. First day to take the light off. Had a bunch of rain last week so everything is green and blooming. The river trail is alive with the sounds of wildlife. The sky is clear with only wisps of clouds. The sun has started its climb over the mountains.
The mountains are just east of town and run north to south. In the winter the sun rises further south and down on the mountain. As spring approachs it starts climbing back up to the crest and finally makes it over and down the north side in summer only to start its slow crawl back over again.
Great time to be riding the bike. If only it wasn't to work. |

Rained (not snowed)just enough to create some perfect dirt overnight and the clouds are hanging low on the mountains to the north and west, and sun is breaking through on the peaks to the south. The fog is hanging flat on the bottom of the valley to the east and I WANT TO GO RIDING!!
Work is such a nuisance. It's especially tough when everything out there is screaming, RIDE, RIDE, RIDE. |
