I was thinking about JimC buying his wife

a new bike for therapy and came across this

photie from a ride with my wife two weeks

ago and thought it was prob'ly good enough

to share. Nice weather, nice trail, nice

company. Sometimes the world is a pretty

nice place.

Great looking picture. Good for you and your wife to have biking as a hobby that the two of you can enjoy together. My wife, son, and I enjoy our ATV's together. I still have my ride days where it's just me, the woods, and my bicycle, but on those days that the three of us, like this evening, get to go out for an ATV ride as a family, are priceless.
Nice photo. God bless us every one.AK Ken

I can relate to Jim and Faye's position right now. Clare and I bought our first suspension bikes in Arizona while taking care of my mom in the last weeks of her battle with cancer.

The hours we stole to ride in the desert were such an incredible celebration of the ability to pedal, and sweat, and breathe...quite the contrast from the bulk of our time during those days.

Anyone defending smoking has never spent time with someone struggling to take their last breath from lung disease.

JimC, if you read this, we're thinking of you and yours.

I like the balance of hills, trees, meadow, cows, single track, and a rider... none of which is focused as the "subject"... it's all the subject.

Lots-o-rain lately. The grass and oaks love it,

the scrub on the hillside doesn't seem to notice.
