| I need help seclecting a camera | epeesolo Apr 29, 2003 12:06 AM | | Hit the return by accident, sorry for that. I would like to get a camera with the panoramic view that I've seen people using. I would like to hear people comment on what they use on the trails. |
| far from expert... | JimC. Apr 29, 2003 5:37 AM | | panorama shots are many single pics "stitched" together with software that comes with the camera, like Adobe Photoshop Elements, for one.
This site, MTBR, is also a good site for PHOTOGRAPHY REVIEW, there's an URL/link at the bottom.
Other than that, all I can recommend is NOT to get the Nikon 2500, 3500 series, there's no viewfinder, and the LCD screen washes out in sunlight.

| re: I need help seclecting a camera | Lenny Apr 29, 2003 9:00 AM | | Just bought a Canon Digital Elph Powershot S230.
3.2 megapixels, it's shirt pocket tiny, has a very easy to use menu architecture and controls, and has great easy to use software. Here's the first panorama shot I took. Didn't even know how to do it at the time but the menus make it easy even for a doofus like me. |

| That's what I'm talking about | epeesolo Apr 29, 2003 9:53 AM | | I love seeing those panoramic shots. I'm thinking of getting the Cannon Powershot S50, but I don't know if it's able to make those pretty shots.
I'll keep looking, here's a link to the camera I want.
