Not often one gets an invite to a remote place to snipe a large ranch for a ride. No trails at all so its all just point and go amoung the hills of Indian Valley in Monterey county. Looking east just as the views got good:

Looking north which way do we go? N is the call to the upper corner of a rather large ridgeline, strange riding on NO TRACK of any sort until I reached a ridge line with some cattle trails

Views a plenty and loads of small wildflowers peaking in color, ride was about 12 miles on no trails, did set the back up for 6" travel so I rolled over everything at speed. Even got lost a few time trying to get back to friends that were having a family party on a neighboring ranch.

Strange riding on a carpet of flowers but alas someone has to ;)

Tomorrow I'll post another ride with even better views/colors, have fun and ride on!
