I feel a 99.9% chance it is just a hoax! No one could be that simple! These folks have not had a resonable point of view yet! I am very open minded, but I still close it to simple, pointless and baseless opinions like those shown here today! I am still waiting for a manifesto of this supposed organization! They will probably misspell most of it, but if it presents rational thinking, I may be willing to consider their(his/her) point of view! I really doubt they can gather enough thoughts, then put them into words that might actually get people thinking. IF they (he/she) have something to say, instead of taking pot shots at CAMBR, put it into a readable declaration. So, for now, let's all stop responding to CAMDDAGG's postings, even if they insult your momma, and perhaps it will get bored, and disappear. CAMBR, continue to fight the good fight!!!! |

CAMDDAGG = CAMBlows, AntiCAMB, etc, and they're the local FR bunch (or guy, as the case may be) who ride long travel bikes in areas where they shouldn't and then get pissed off at CAMBr who they see as not doing enough to save their illegal trails.
CAMBr = some mtb org that's been trying to keep chicago trails open
7 Something 4EVA = some guy who's on the side of CAMBr but is also riding illegal trails on his short-travel HT
Everyone else = coming in (mostly) on the side of CAMBr, about how illegal riding closes trails.

anybody else here wax nostalgic for some good old "cleatgrrl vs. DH" argument where the positions are stated clearly in the beginning, the two sides meet at center ice, drop the gloves and go at it?

Actually, I'm partial to the MPD posts myself. The S+J-CB-NSP threads were the best.
However, the BeeTs and TNJED were pretty entertaining.
Lately, the PK/Pete threads have been pretty good.
How about this:
I say that all freeriders tearing up perfectly good concrete structures, playground equipment and other misc. items have no place in the biking community.
