A race back to the car to drink beer after the ride that starts at 8 or 9...

If you're meeting at 8 at Rockville, why not meet at 9Pete.

...at Oat Hill since you've never ridden one of the premier North Bay rides?

I'm riding Sunday morning wherever the "clique" decides, within reason.
Well....Finch Platte

Can you describe where Oat Hill is, exactly?

Yeah, yeah. Oat hill it sounds like.

It's up north. That exact enough for you?

We'll meet in cordelia sometime sunday morning and drive up together. (so you can save on gas)

Trailhead is in Calistoga, before you head over the twisty road/mountain.

I'll probably buy a big barleywine at the Calistoga shishi deli afterwards.
What do you care?Sabine

I've got to live vicariously through SOMEBODY.

We're doing Peavine on the 7th now. Maybe you can come up friday, spend the night, and we can caravan up? We've got a spare bedroom.

(Wait, that sounds a bit suspect....well, uh, I'll shut up now....)
In case you didn't know....BIGFOOT CLASSIC IS ON FOR SURE!!!!!!Bigfoot
May 30, 2003 4:22 AM
Come up to Humboldt to race the Bigfoot Classic. Hillclimb (free!) is Friday at 5pm. Cross-country is Saturday at 10am. Both are under the giant redwoods of the Arcata Community Forest, right next to Humboldt State U. The 8.25 mile course has over 1000' of climbing per lap.

Sunday's downhill is on our all new private course ten miles up the mountain from Arcata. It'll be open for practice to registered riders all day Saturday.

AND, it's all for a good cause...proceeds go to the Arcata Forest Fund's effort to purchase a 171-acre parcel destined to be even more multi-user trails!

For details and entry forms visit www.teambigfoot.net.

Is a good one. Just when you think you have it licked you hit the sand near the top. It's best when it has just rained.
