I had some made and they came out pretty cool! Just remember to make your background color MUCH deeper in color than you want it too look in the end because everything turns out much lighter.
Here's two of my templates for the checks I had made...
What I did to make sure I'd have everything in the right place was to grab their example check of the guy on the bike and worked with it in Photo Deluxe taking into consideration where the printing would be. They accept huge files, so don't be afraid to save them that way for quality.
