come sunday, i'll be packing up the family and heading to ireland for 12-18 months (don't worry, the bikes are already in transit). while biking viking has shown that internet connections do indeed exist in these trans-atlantic environs, i'll probably not be posting or lurking much.

i've met some cool people via this site, and it'll be a while since i see any of you. catch up w/ you when i'm back!
Oh Hell, at least post about riding in the rain in Ireland...Rev Bubba

Good beer and good riding await.

Beware of leprechauns, and random Welshmen, not neccessarily in that order.
Good luck (nm)celly

I bottomed my fork and rode an endo for a couple feet on those stairs...

The Teetertotter I brought up... You should see the one I've got planned - a two-laner...

The epic ride where we all got lost and I sprinted to the top of the hill...

The food, the beer, the good times...

Why haven't we all gotten together again since?

2 weeks over there last summer were great. Same question as above, where will you be based?

All the best to you and Hillary and the boys in your new home.

I'm sorry we didn't get to ride together before you left. If it's any consolation, I haven't been to Bromont yet myself, and this weekend's weather forecast is not looking promising. I'm really chomping to try out my Balfa 2Step DH!

Be sure to keep in touch!

All the best!kristian

Enjoy the riding there (and everything else)! I'm sure you'll have a blast over there! Like others have said, we would love to see an occasional ride report from the Emerald Isle.
Wow! Good luck!Pirate Girl

My mom and I are going to visit Ireland over Labor Day week. She has always wanted to go on vacation there, so for her 50th birthday I bought her an all-expense paid trip to the Emerlad Isle. She is so excited, and can't wait until we leave. Should be a blast.

Unfortunately, I won't get a chance to ride while there, but with all the greenery and the sights to take in, I think I'll manage.

Good luck in the move (hopefully everything will make it in one piece), and please post some ride pics sometime, if you get a chance!

Have a wonderful trip and stay! (nm)michigantammy

I'm finally getting my bike and arse out east this summer and you're leaving?! WHos gonna show me the gnar?

Enjoy Ireland. Theres a slight chance I may get there next summer (04). If so, and I remember, I'll try to get a hold of you to do some riding. I've done a little bit over there.

Have a great experience.

If you have a chance to get to the White Mtns of NH, please drop me a line. I have some outstanding lines for you (that I'm too chicken to ride).

I'd be willing to meet you at Vietnam, too. The place should not be missed.

...of heavy for me, Tim. Oh hell, make it stout instead.

The time is going to fly by so fast you won't believe it. I suspect this will be one of the best experiences you'll ever have.

Best wishes to Hil, Myles & the new guy. Keep us in tune!
Thanks for introducing me to freeriding...upNdown

well, seeing as your buddies on your side of the atlantic are saying goodbye, let me be the first to welcome you to Ireland. can't tell you much about the riding in dublin, but i hear its good. killarney area down in county kerry is worth a look while you're here. other than that dublin/wicklow mountains is probably best area. other good stuff is bits and pieces spread out.
