| YO liderman! angelfire ski area open? Chilli chalenge info? | Ben Dover May 30, 2003 1:09 PM | | going to be in southern colorado(ft garland) in a few weeks and only have a few days to ride thinking of riding south boundry trail in nm or maybe angelfire as its only an hour away if not we may ride "roughest road in co" near the great sand dunes
Have you ridden south boundry trail? How much climbing if we start at the farthest drop off point? |
| Yep.... | lidarman May 30, 2003 1:16 PM | | About 2000 ft climbing from the start near Angel Fire. So if you ride the S Boundary Tr., you have to be in Angel Fire. Its 25 mile shuttle one-way.
other folks can chime in on the other details. |
| Call Native Sons... | Dr.Faustus May 30, 2003 1:44 PM | | Or the other LBS in Taos (can't remember the name) to make sure South Boundary is open. Last I heard as of Memorial Day Weekend it was still snowy on top. It would be good to wait until the trail is dry.
