Epic Saturday morning ride: Strawberry Peak-Pasadena, CA (4 posts)
| Epic Saturday morning ride: Strawberry Peak-Pasadena, CA | MTBSKI May 30, 2003 3:30 PM | | SOCAL riders, I'm doing a 23-26 mile ride in Angeles National Forest tomorrow. Although it is only 23-26 miles it's epic in that it has great scenary, scary exposure and fast rough single track. Drop a line if interested.
I'm, doing this ride in preperation for a two day ride and campout in the same area the following week. We'll be starting out in Millard Campground in Pasadena and we'll be climbing, descending and climbing for something like 6-7,00' total elevation gain to our final destination Chilao Campground where we'll campout overnight. We'll then return to pasadena blasting down some of the greatest single track in the local area.
I'll post some pics.

| Strawberry Peak | MTBSKI May 30, 2003 4:34 PM | | The ride will start at 8:00 sharp, so I am assuming you're giving us a head start. You must be fast! You know the route so, go for it, we'll try to beat you to RedBox. If you have a walkie talkie tune it to channel 14.5
What are you riding/ who should we look out for?
