Aug 3, 2003 1:08 PM | | I used to do a race in Emlenton every year. Its a little town on the river just off I80. Really cool trails around that area and the race I'm talking about is awesome. I think it was called the Emlenton Mountain Bike Festival or something like that. It had a couple real nasty climbs, but otherwise sweet riding! |

Aug 4, 2003 4:54 AM | | 2 hours on the screws from Cleveland and some of the best riding in this area. Thye must have 50 miles of trail (mostly singletrack). Expect some very technical riding with some great boulder downhills and tree strewn switchback climbs. It'll test everything you have for sure. You might email Dan or Cub (locals) to lead you around though as it can get a little on the tricky side to navigate. Fortunately, there is a large lake in the middle of the area to provide reference. Keep the lake on your right and you're golden.
We wil probably be heading up there again soon so let me know if you're going and maybe we'll meet you there. BTW, they also have great camping.
