Why Turner 5-spots are pieces of shit!(23 posts)

Why Turner 5-spots are pieces of shit!Turner Hater
Aug 3, 2003 3:10 PM
Why Turner 5-spots are the most-overrater pieces of shit that i've ever seen. What kind of MORON pays 2 g's on a frame that sucks? A horst-link is a horst-line is a horst-link. David Turner needs to go Titec's way and go out of business. He's the most money sucking asshole manufactorurer ever. Many, many bikes cost way less and are way better. The ONLY frame worth paying 2 g's for is an Airborne Paka-Wallup which is only 1.7 g's. Turner bikes are the worst-value shittiest pieces of shit ever to have to wheels on them. All these bastard 5-spot owners are blinded by the bikes shitty ass performance because they put 4 g's into a bike that should be sold at Wal-Mart or Toys R' Us. The government should put Turner bikes out of business for being such faggots and having their bikes cost way to much. Turners eat shit and don't deserve to be called bikes-only pieces of shit from my ass. RANT OVER
Can't afford one, eh? nmscrublover

Any facts to substantiate your "dung theory"?wfl3

Or did you just get brutally butt punched by a cellmate named Turner?

Why would you compare a bike with like 1" of travel to one with 5" - maybe you're unconsciously wishing this Turner fellow was a bit "shorter" in travel?

i just got a chance to hop on one for a few minutes and the 5 spot felt awesome. the romic shock felt great. there is a reason that turner's 4 bar is patented (by specialized). best suspension produced to date as far as race results and technical riding feedback is concerned
just a clarrification...DGC

Specialized does not own the patent to the Turner 4 bar design, Horst Leitner (AMP bikes) sold his Horst link patent for a great deal of money to Specialized a few years back, to use this now called FSR link you must pay the piper royalties. This is all for that little critical link in back by the axle, the rest of the Turner design has absolutely nothing to do with Specialized, in fact Turner had used the Horst link many years prior to Specialized buying the patent.

As for the idiot original poster of the Turner rant, he is just trying to get everyone all fired up or riled up purposely, or truely is jealous of such a beautiful machine and wishes he didnt have to own his Pacifica Huffy.
/me grades your paper. 'You fail, troll!'pimpbot

You have zero arguement and zero examples. Basically, you just say 'Turners are bad cause they cost too much, M'kay?' and that's it. That's all you got.

That, and you state that the government should put a successful bike company out of business for building overpriced bikes and their sexual orientation.

So do us all a favor. Either explain your position with examples, or STFU, because we don't wanna hear some 9 year old's temper tantrum becuase his mommy didn't cut his crusts off his PB and J and got sent to bed.

Man, I hope you learn som englishin' and paper-writin' before they let you out of 4th grade you bigoted little asshole.

...the cursing is not acceptable, but he does have a point. If I was throwing down 2000 bones - i'd want full custom.

$2000 for a stock frame? No thanks.

NSlookup came up with this:

Name: adsl-65-70-231-171.dsl.fyvlar.swbell.net

Address: 65.70.231.171

I think it's interesting that he decries a horst-link when many

manufacturers (and many bikes) use it. Oh well.

Thanks for the educational, well thought out and well substantiated argument.

I'll be sure to swing by during Juvenile Hall visiting hours to pick up some more pointers on debate, clear thought and persuasive writing skills (or should I say skilz?).
