| tack, tack ,tack | monsoon lover Aug 3, 2003 10:45 PM | | anyone had the pleasure of riding flagstaff the last two weeks. tackola i say. the dust has been covered, my brakes are no longer used in the dusty burm sections, and little bear the other morning was great. no other tracks but mine. as good as a fresh powder day when we get them here in flag. so if you are sitting in your ac in phx or somewhere else, get yo ass to flag while the tack is ripe like my sore melon ass from riding so much. damn i love az. eat your heart out bikers across the usa. monsoon season riding is in a league of its own. |
| Monsoon? I gotcher monsoon..... | AK Ken Aug 3, 2003 11:16 PM | | this was last Monday. Finally went for the first ride since then and things were not too bad; roots were still a little slick, and more rocks and roots exposed, but okay overall.

| yeah.... | BeerSnob Aug 4, 2003 7:12 AM | | places like the "kentucky waterfall" were rideable with nary a hint of skiddage. And, like you mentioned, the berm sections are nice, much less chance of the front wheel losing it.
Sweet!
Trails are already dry though, we need a bit more rain. |
