DaveM trains to be Zonic's understudy. =)

Here's a teaser pic from my 2 weekends in CO. to everyone I rode with...I had a blast. Kristain and Lidarman, thanks for the crash space.

I will try and post the rest tonight.

That looks like it's got potential for major hurtage.

What kind of fork is he running?

fp (what's w/ JimCee and his digicam????)
I believe it's the new Z1 50brianc

Don't ask kristian about the hurtage of that spot.

DM like ZM walked away from it.
Nope, its a Z1 QR20...EricTheRed

Dave went with the 5" fork, he didn't want the extra pound and a bit of the 150.

Great photo Brian.
I thought so- does he like it?Finch Q. Platte

Any probs with the damping? Or anything else?

fp
All we know is that...lidarman

...he likes it better than his old fox 125 but he was wimpering about some creak in the front and got caught riding down a nasty step section on "wild thang" with the damping in "lock" position...oops!!

I was riding a fox 125 which felt great on the drops but killed my forearms on the high speed chatter. I still can't figure out whether it was damping or travel...or lame forearms ;-).
Phhhhhhht, that fork...daveM

ROCKS! The dampening is waaaay better than the Vanilla R, IMHO, and I think that fork saved my a$$! Ventanarama got me a great deal on the '03 Z1 QR20, and I definitely owe him a beer!

THAT was a STELLA weekend! It was great to meet you Brian!
DaveM, I hope you still have all your teeth.Kitchenware

Just checked my email, Dave (long overdue internet break...) and yeah, you can have the Fox if you want it. BrianC, I wish I could have ridden with you, but I wouldn't have been much fun anyhoo. Good to see that you had a good time though.

To all the locals I haven't seen or talked to in a while, hi and I hope everyone is doing well and riding as much as they want to. I'm in the process of moving down the street so I couldn't ride much if I wanted to, good time for a break. :)

Dude, we miss you...lidarman

No really, we do!!!

Wished you could have been there. It was fun and you would have only added to it.
Agreed...EricTheRed

And i hope you want to start riding again before too much snow falls. Jim, I'm gonna stop by today, I've got some errands to do around boulder.
It would have been nice to ride together againbrianc

But I can understand your situation.

Maybe in three weeks you'll feel different and hop on the Lidarman/ErictheRed/Kristain caravan for GITA.

Thanks Jim...daveM

I hopefully just bought one off of, errrr, another site. Let me know if you need a hand with any moving stuff, the truck and dolly are at your disposal.

If you need a pit crew at a bug race, let me know!
