Aug 4, 2003 12:49 PM | | This is one of my favorite running routes. This trail is located along the lake (at Stoney). Since it's a very short singletrack trail, I don't bike here as often. I did bike here over the weekend though, just right before hitting the main mt biking trail, that where most bikers are :).
However, I think you still can bike here along the lake, and have a good time, if you don't mind getting interupted by the wide gravel track, parking lots.
And some part of this trail are not mark at all, so it's kinda mysterious to find your way around. I always find a new route everytime I go :)
Anyway, I think the trail is nice enough to make it out for a 5k run. |

Aug 4, 2003 9:36 PM | | When I lived in MI a couple yrs. ago and first started riding, I used to go to Stoney all the time. There are trails in the back part for mtn. biking that were kind of fun. I also think they connect to Bald Mtn. trails. I live in arizona now, where I think the riding is better, but I still miss riding Poto. and some of the other MI trails!
