Wasn't sure if I'd remember but this wrong posting in the wrong forum by other misguided old folks jogged my old bran, er, brain cells a bit.

Hope it warms up for you enough to get in 1) a ride 2) some TH cawfee

and 3) whatever else you want.

Should I post this over in the new forum?

ßirthday? Christ, who can count that high?!!Brad Trent
Jan 16, 2004 6:13 AM
Happy ßirthday ya Old Phart! What is this...82? 84?!! I dunno, I lost count after they put you in the alzheimer's wing...

Anyway, here's an oldie but a goodie to remember you by...

Mike T's REAL Profile

Name: Mike Tierney

Handle: Mike T, aka eMTea, aka Maguraholic,

aka Crotchety Old Bastard (his WuTang Clan name)

Age: I invented dirt...you do the math!

City: Woodstock Ontario Canada...I moved here in an LSD haze back in the 60's

thinking it was the real Woodstock! By the time my head cleared up,

I had a kid and a mortgage, so I figured, screw it...I might as well stay!

Occupation: Arsonist disguised as a Firefighter...

pretty damn good disguise if you ask me!

Years Riding: Shortly after inventing dirt, I came up with the

original sketch for the wheel...the rest is precambrian history.

Bike: The heaviest custom Seven Ti Sola®

to ever come off of the production line,

built to my exacting specifications...

It tips the scales at just a tick under 53 lbs...

it is, however, much lighter than that

boat anchor of a Masi road bike I lug up hills...

Type of Rider: 2" roots scare the living shit outta me...

I think it's bordering on phobic!

I know I can ride them, really, but visions of paralysis

and a life of eating creamed carrots through a tube in my neck

force me to walk everything larger than a pimple.

God I need help...

Other Sports or Hobbies: I'm a terror on the cricket pitch...

I was on the fabled Limey team that kicked the stuffing

out of those Wog bastards from India in the famous

29 day test match back in '46...truly my finest hour!

As for hobbies, mother and I never turn down the

offer of a spirited canasta match, and we both so love to watch

the Canada Geese fertilize the lawn...

Additional Points of Interest: Bromont will be the 4th or 5th time I've gone to a gathering

of mtbr.com idiots with the sole intention of winning over the stinking masses

with my ever-so-cute English demeanor and heart warming stories that usually begin

"...back during the Blitz..."!!!

You North Americans are suckers for anybody with an accent that doesn't

sound like it crawled out of a Louisiana swamp!

How else can you explain how a one-note twit like myself

has so ingrained himself on your very lives?!!

Back home in Brixton, I would be just another drunk-on-piss-warm beer asshole

sitting in my own filth at the end of the bar in some smelly "quaint" pub

surrounded by like-minded losers who spend

their dole checks as fast as they get them on as many black & tans

as their bloated bellies will hold, complaining all the while on how

their useless lives were destroyed by "...that bitch Thatcher..."

and not because they are basically

untalented, unmotivated and unloved by the rest of the world...

Bollocks to all of ya!!!

eM*burp*Tea (God save the King!!!)

Yeah that epistle of yours is still on my compu-room wall - mainly because the walls are full in the outdoor shidder. HawwHaww.

Yeah the cereal-killer on the right of the pic is ol' BeeDee Big Dave who don't ride a bike much no mo'. That pic was by celly on the ski lift at Whizzler '98 - the first real MTBR Gathering (LeeL's doo). At least celly takes GOOD pics! Ya can even read my Tim Horton hat it's so sharp.
Oh, that's too funny, and too true too, eh?AK Ken
