Today was our 20th Wedding Anniversary. That also marks our oldest sons age and how long we have been Mtn. Biking together. We shared a ride that we do quite a bit because it is just up the road. The fall colors are about there as you can see.

Maria on the side singletrack:

The view up valley looking at Italian Mtn., which has one of the worlds only deposits of Lapis Lazouli on it BTW:

Ran into a friend working on a cabin (just a little 2500 sq. ft. one) that took this for us:

Just a little more road work,

Then on to the singletrack!

Just like butter, only better---

Some wild looking algae in the creek bed:

A nice view:

Hey, who's driving???? An attempt at a still video---

Autumn Splendor in the Rockies:

Starting back down the Homestead trail:

Maria and Rock:

Why they call this area Cement Creek, conglomerate abounds!

The trail goes on,

And on,

And on,

Then it is back down the road aways to home,

Well gotta go get ready for a night out on the town now, thanks for looking!

Awesome. I ended up not going up to Aspen last weekend, but up to Winter Park/Frasier valley instead.

This weekend we are staying up in Hot Sulphur Springs to soak, then possibly head up to Steamboat for a ride on Rabbit Ears or Cameron on the way down.

Gotta love this short 2 weeks of color in Colorado. Short, but well worth it.
Congratulations!AK Ken

Happy anniversary to both of yas.

The pictures were great; looks like you had a nice day for it. I don't think you're supposed to have those big wheeled bikes on singletrack, though.

Many happy returns.

Wow, great pics, beautiful scenery! I wish I had that here, good to see you enjoy it to the full extend.

I'm looking foward to your 29th wedding anniversary pics!

Here's a pic of the scenery for most of my local rides. The pic was taken in Belgium, but could just as well be 2 blocks from here.
And people some wonder why I ride 2*9...

Thanks for the cool photos! I used one photo for wallpaper on my computer for at work. One problem, I keep day dreaming when I look at it.

What type of Willits and fork are you riding in the 20th pictures?

That's the full suspension, correct?

And on that converted 26er with the custom forks with struts...do they really work and what do they add to the ride?

The Willits come pretty highly recommended but what type of Willits hardtail would you recommend?

Just looking for some more info on the 29ers...

Looks like you really have some nice frames...

thanks
