| re: Retrotec 29'er SS | 1 Speed Oct 6, 2002 4:42 PM | | Details please. I'd love to know cost, etc. Looks great!
I've got a Retrotec 26" that I've tried to call Inglis about doing some repairs on. No luck. I called at least a half dozen times with no return call. |
| Retrotec Details | mojo2396 Oct 7, 2002 4:50 AM | | Took a little over 2 months, a couple of phone calls, a dozen or so e mails, and about $1000, frame showed up looking and riding better than I had hoped for!
E mails seemed to be best way to communicate, nothing but good to say about Curtis and his work!
King 32h ss hubs(17t), Velocity Dyad rims, RF 180mm cranks, Spot 32t ring, Thomson post and stem, King hs, Marz Marathon, Paul brakes/levers, Brooks saddle. |
| What a beauty! | martini Oct 7, 2002 1:20 PM | | By far the classiest looking bike on this board yet, 29" or not. I like the SS touch too. 1 speed, could you post a pic of yours? Love retrotec's ever since I saw my first one in MBA so many years ago(or was it Dirt Rag?)
