| So, how good is the Fisher Supercaliber 29er? | Fatboy Oct 8, 2002 12:01 PM | | Rcaing a On-One Inbred now rigid. Getting moved up from Sport class
to Expert. Want a new bike, but not a ss.
How good is this bike and will it hold up to a expert racer
that is 210 pounds? Just xc stuff, no jumping.
Thanks FaTbOy |

However, they rep Titus who makes custom titanium f/s bikes (including a 29er) so they may be biased.
I heard delivery wasn't till around XMas so we'll both have time to think. :)

THe Trek info number said that the SUgar29 (as opposed to the hardtails) had been pushed back to mid December. Her name was Brenda.. |

| HOLD THE PHONE!! Whats that about Titus 29er? | crussell5 Oct 9, 2002 12:50 PM | | It is true. I placed an order in early september for a RacerX Ti 29". The frame cost is $2100.00 but it is built custom to your needs. Visit www.titusti.com or call and speak with Chris.
Chris told me that the frame I ordered will be the 2nd one he has built.
Don't be in any hurry if you want to get this frame! |
| HOLY 29 INCH WHEELED BIKES, BATMAN!!! | NCJ01 Oct 9, 2002 12:59 PM | | That is so cool, I can't stand it. I sold my 2002 Titus RX just a month or so ago, partially for the purpose of getting a 29. It was the best bike I have owned. Do you pay at time of ordering, or when its built and ready for shipping? |

They require a $1000.00 deposit before they begin. I spent 45min on the phone with Chris going over frame measurements. He is very open minded. I did not ask when the frame was to be ready because the season is about over for me, so what does it matter.
I am as excited as you are. I have been riding a Willit's 29" for 3 years and want something a little softer. I have many friends with 26" racer-x frames who love them. |

You all are going to go nuts riding a FS 29"er if squish is your dish. I know because I have been riding one for the last 4 years!!!! They are the bomb. |
