You are the first person I hear of that gets one of those Sugars, and I'm quite sure you'll be envied for the decision, I expect some great things from that bike!
Is the race the 12th, or a 12-hour race? In case of the latter, solo? I think my Fs bike, a VooDoo Canzo Esp that is quite slow compared to my hardtailed Bokors on short distances, totally rips on anything over 2 hours. My SuperCal29 is a riding dream come true, but that Sugar should do some great things to the otherwise still harsh rear!
Man, 4.6 maximum inches of rear travel on a 29" wheel, that's a one-rider sofa!
Good luck with the waiting till Christmas. I suggest a wintersleep, makes time go by faster :-)
