May 29, 2003 10:48 AM | | Just mowed mine a week ago, and now it's long and ratty again. Unlike the rest of the country, in the Pacific NW our lawns are naturally green in winter (and green and very fast-growing in the spring) and brown in summer.
And for those who do not know, a brown lawn is NOT "dead", it means "dormant". Though some may choose to water it and make it green, it is not necessary. |
