High feels about right but the low could be a little lower.

22/34/44 11/34 I have this combo as a 7spd and a 9spd. I have always been a big fan on geared bikes of getting the largest gear spread that is feasible. With a low of 19" and a high of 116" I can negotiate anything I have the lungs for. The 34/34 is a good one that gets alot of use climbing.

On my bike with the 2spd bb and an 11/34 7spd cluster my low gear is a 23" and sometimes that is just not enough for me on a long sustained climb. My kid could get along fine without a granny ring but he weighs about 40 lbs less than me and is 17 to boot.

I'm running 20-30-42 in front with a 11-34 rear. Works great in all conditions.

22-30-42 is no "man's" gear. I thought you were still a masher. 24-36-48 is what I recommened. No pu$$y 34 in the back either. Run a road cassette 11-23. ahaha
