Quick pre-vacation poll : which front tire for dry rocks?(3 posts)

Quick pre-vacation poll : which front tire for dry rocks?Cloxxki
May 29, 2003 5:43 AM
Going to the French Alps tomorrow morning, Paris time. I own Notos, Moto's and Nano's. The 2.0 Big Apples are going along for the road rides. 2 Nano's for a hill climb time trial that's supposed to be done on offroad tires.
But which front tire (most important IMO) will be best for the rocky descends?

Thanks in advance!!

I'm running disc brakes, Formula 4R 185mm front, Shimano 525 rear (cheap at the LBS right now, and turned out to be girly-easy to mount).

Happy trails,

J
based on 26" hearsay, I'd say the MotoraptorsGlowBoy

Sounds like a lot of 26"ers that ride dry rocks a lot (e.g., CO front-rangers) really like the Motos.
