I have been exploring some new trails in the South Park area here in CO. Yeah, where Kenny lives. Haven't seen him on the trails yet but then again I haven't seen but one person out there yet--

It's alot of fun to get into new terrain. There is a pretty good map of the area but it is mostly about double track old mining roads which are fun to explore and get you pretty high up and close to the Divide. There are several passes that go over the Divide but haven't been able to get that high yet due to snow.

near my old neighborhood. Have a nice lunch at the Fairplay Hotel and tell 'em to put it on my tab!

Nice pics. If you ride over Boreas one direction and over Hoosier the other direction you'll pass both my old houses. That would be a pretty big loop for me at that elevation! Last time we were there I had a headache for 2 days.

Have fun.

Hey thanks for the great pics views and vistas.
Here in the east (Wash DC) we under soggy soggy clouds and sustained rains. Even when it's perfect weather here we don't have what you guys have right. Looks to me like heaven starts right at the end of your driveway. Enjoy and be thankful.
Best regards,

Go to the Forest Service office at the intersection of 9 and 285 and pick up their free booklet which is what I have been working out of. I do most of my riding there during the week but let's try and hook up for some adventure? Then you can show me the front range stuff when I am down there sometime. I have only done Green Mtn. there so far.
